The Leap Project (Local Energy Action Plan) is expanding beyond Lochwinnoch to the villages of Kilbarchan and Howwood with a further 12 months of funding from the Climate Challenge Fund. The project seeks to recruit 2 self employed local part time Home Energy Advisors to work up to 18.75 hours a week with villagers in the Kilbarchan Howwood and Lochwinnoch areas. Weekend and evening work will sometimes be required. Earning up to £10000 during the period ending 31st March 2012. A technical knowledge of reducing enrgey use in the home and a knowledge of construction would be helpful although training will be given.
